Who shot the hot round in Round 4 of the 2022 Ledgestone Open in FPO?

Alexis Mandujano shot the hot score in Round 4 with a 7-under-par.

Quote from the winner: “This is a tournament I've wanted for so long," Gannon said. "I always felt like this was one I could get, and to finally take it down is a huge accomplishment. To win now feels like so much more of an accomplishment than in years past. Being a part of Team Ledgestone and Team Discraft, it couldn't be any more sweet."

"I told myself to breathe before every shot, and even after every shot, and to not think about too much else other than my shot."

Gannon shares an embrace with her caddy and partner, Tom, after sinking the final putt to win the 2022 Ledgestone Open. It is Gannons first career victory at the event and her first DGPT win of 2022.

Game-changing moment: Everything turned around for Missy Gannon on hole 6. She started 2-over par through five holes and trailed Paige Pierce, while Kristin Tattar charged hard with a hot start. Gannon stepped up to the sixth hole needing something to jumpstart her round. Two clean fairway shots and a parked approach on the 790-foot par 5 gave her the moment she was looking for as she tapped in a stress-free birdie. Meanwhile, Pierce took three straight bogeys and Gannon added two more birdies over the next three holes, swinging the momentum hard in Gannon's favor.

Standout Stat: Despite the field being cut in half and only the best players advancing to the final round, hole 14 at Northwood Black actually played even harder the second time around. In Round 1 the FPO field averaged 0.56-over par, but in Round 4 that average increased to 0.68-over par. Not one player birdied hole 14 during the final round.

Highlight of the Day: Up by three with Kristin Tattar charging hard, Gannon converted a 32-foot, uphill putt over the wooden posts on hole 16 for birdie. With putt, Gannon sat comfortably in front. She relaxed and delivered a parked drive with her go-to Thrasher on hole 17 to all but seal the tournament.
