Zanfel Announced as Major Sponsor

Friday, December 23, 2022

Ledgestone TD Nate Heinold is happy to announce that Zanfel has been named as a major sponsor at each of the four major events the Ledgestone team is hosting in 2023: PDGA Champions Cup, Combined Junior and AM Worlds, DGLO and Ledgestone. Zanfel has been an integral part to making Ledgestone a successful event and has increased their support with the 2023 events. This announcement is part of our Day 12 announcement in our series of announcements titled the Twelve Days of Ledgestone.

The Ledgestone team has enjoyed a close relationship with the leadership of Zanfel for several years. Zanfel has their headquarters in Iowa but their owner is from Peoria, so the relationship is a natural fit. “It means a lot to work with a company who has their roots right here in our backyard where our event takes place,” said Heinold. “Disc golf is played primarily in the woods, and we are no stranger to poison ivy here. Several of our staff members have to use Zanfel’s product each year and it continues to provide relief,” finished Heinold. Zanfel will be providing a tube of Zanfel to each AM player at Ledgestone, Combined Worlds and DGLO. Zanfel will also be providing one of their smaller tubes to all spectators at the Champions Cup.

Zanfel is the only product clinically shown to remove the poison ivy, oak, and sumac toxin from the skin, anytime after outbreak and relieve itching within 30 seconds. Use of Zanfel allows the poison ivy affected disc golfer to immediately return to enjoying the outdoors in an itch-free and healing state. Zanfel can be found in the first aid section of most pharmacies.  Please contact us at 800-401-4002 or visit Zanfel’s website for more information. “Zanfel is proud to be a returning sponsor for The Ledgestone Open, a world class event which provides an incredible amount of charitable support in the Peoria area,” stated Daniel Boelman, Zanfel Customer Service Manager.

The 13th Annual Discraft Ledgestone Insurance Open will take place August 3rd to August 6th in Central Illinois. Registration will take place exclusively at Disc Golf Scene and will open 1/1/23. Registration for AM players and age protected professionals will take place here.
