Ledgestone TD Nate Heinold is happy to announce that Zuca has signed on as a sponsor for all of the events the Ledgestone team is running in 2022: Ledgestone, Combined Worlds and DGLO. This announcement is the 6th in our series of announcements titled the Twelve Days of Ledgestone. Zuca has been a sponsor of the Ledgestone event for several years, but has decided to increase their partnership with the Ledgestone team for their 2022 events. “The Ledgestone team is thrilled to be working with Zuca for the 2022 event in an expanded role. I only like to promote products that I personally believe in, so this continues to be a natural fit. I have used a Zuca cart for four years now, and it’s helped me immensely. Through this partnership, the event will once again be releasing special Buzzz themed All Terrain and Compact carts next year. With the Ledgestone team running two Elite Series events and Combined Worlds in 2022, Nate needed to come up with new, creative ways to raise funds, and the custom cart idea came to mind. “I once again approached Discraft with the idea and they were gracious enough to allow me to release these carts in support of these events,” said Heinold. Nate is currently working with the Discraft marketing team on designs, which will be different than the carts that were released in 2021. Only a limited number of these special carts will be made and released. Zuca will also be involved in additional ways with the event. “We are also excited to announce the last piece of our deal with Zuca, but our fans will have to wait a few more days to find out more information,” teased Heinold.
The 12th Annual Discraft Ledgestone Insurance Open will take place August 11th to the 14th in Central Illinois. Registration will take place exclusively at Disc Golf Scene and will open in early 2022.
