In some shape or form, Discraft has been involved with the Ledgestone Insurance Open since its inception. 400 discs were made for the first event in 2011 with the tournament logo, and 200 were Discraft. Discraft became the presenting sponsor of the event in October 2014. Tournament Director Nate Heinold has a close relationship with Bob Julio, Discraft Team Manager, who also serves as the Discraft contact for the tournament.
