Ledgestone FAQ

What happens if I signup for an AM division and my rating moves up?
You will need to move up to that division. We will be using the July ratings update this year. When the July ratings update happens, we will move affected MA4 players who have rated out of MA4 to MA3; we will move affected MA3 players who have rated out of MA3 to MA2; and so on. If you are currently signed up for the event but rate out of your division, you are guaranteed a spot in the event.
How does the AM payout process work?
The tournament will be responsible for the AM payout and will have items for sale on Sunday at two locations: Lake Eureka and Five Points in Washington. The payout will start as soon as the scores are tabulated for the division in question and we make the payout vouchers. Different divisions will get to go through the payout area at different times based on when they finish. The payout will be Discraft discs, baskets, bags, other items, etc. If you do not purchase items at the event with your payout voucher, you will be able to use your voucher later on to buy stuff later from the Ledgestone retail website.
I am traveling to the event with my buddy. Can we play on the same card for the first round so it's easier for us to travel?
We are not able to accommodate requests like this.
What is the format for the rounds?
The full course schedule is located here: http://lisopen.com/event/course-schedule.aspx All rounds each day will be tee times.
If I am a pro player, will I need to fill out a W9?
Yes, you will need to fill out a W9 this year if you make more than $600 from the event. We will then issue 1099’s later on in the year.
How long will AM check-in take?
Plan on at least 30 minutes for the AM-check in process. We are making progress towards cutting down the time it takes to check people in, but we have a lot of AMS to check in.
Where can I find my tee time each night?
Please check the PDGA.com results page each night for your time. We have added another staff member to help with scoring this year, so our goal is to have the round results and next day tee times up as fast as possible every night. With 2000+ players and a lot of scores to double check, we do want to make sure what we post is right the first time, so it does take time.
What happens if I need to withdraw?
Please make sure to let us know by emailing [email protected] – if you do not let us know that you are withdrawing you will receive an 888 designation with the PDGA, which will affect your rating. It is important for us to know this information in advance so we can adjust cards if we have to.
Can someone else check in for me?
Unfortunately we do not allow this. Please make plans to be there for AM check in.
What if I am not able to check-in?
Check-in is required on Thursday for Amateur players and Wednesday for professional players with no exceptions.
Can I get a Ledgestone players pack without playing the event?
When can I practice courses for Ledgestone?
Please view this link for practice information for all Ledgestone courses.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, there is a dress code that applies to all players and their caddies. The dress code is located here: https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/304
