Tucked away in the small town of Eureka, home of Eureka College, Lake Eureka Disc Golf Course offers a fantastic mix of technical wooded shots, open fairways, and elevation changes that challenge players of all skill levels.

The property features two distinct courses:

  • Lake Eureka Temp – A world-class championship course, specially designed each year for the prestigious Ledgestone Open, one of the biggest events in professional disc golf.
  • The Permanent Course – An 18-hole course open year-round, known for its balanced design that rewards both accuracy and power.

Lake Eureka Temp – Ledgestone Open Championship Course

The Lake Eureka Temp course is a spectacular, high-profile championship layout, only set up once a year for the Ledgestone Open. Designed for elite-level play, it is longer, more challenging, and filled with risk-reward shots that test the world’s best disc golfers.

Signature Holes

  • Hole 1 – A breathtaking par 4 water carry right out of the gate, setting the tone for a high-risk, high-reward round.
  • Hole 5 – The world-famous baseball field hole. A nerve-wracking par 3 requiring players to throw a precise, gutsy shot over an actual baseball field. Made famous by Paul McBeth’s near ace in 2017, an iconic Ledgestone moment.
  • Hole 12 – The infamous "Water Tower Hole", where players must navigate a tricky shot around the massive water tower, adding a layer of mental and technical challenge.

This temporary course is one of the most exciting stops on the pro tour, pushing players to the absolute limit while offering fans thrilling highlight-reel moments year after year.

The Permanent Course

Lake Eureka’s permanent course blends tight wooded lines, strategic elevation changes, and long-distance opportunities, making it a well-rounded layout for casual and competitive play alike.

Signature Holes

  • Hole 4 – A straight, narrow, downhill tunnel shot that tempts you to attack for birdie—but a misfire could spell trouble.
  • Hole 15 – A wide-open bomber hole with a built-up green, rewarding players with distance while challenging precision on approach shots.
