What is Ledgestone? 

Ledgestone is a multifaceted disc golf company dedicated to promoting the growth and  sustainability of the sport from the local to Elite levels. In 2026, Ledgestone will host four  Elite-level events — the Supreme Flight Open, the Ledgestone Open, the DGPT  Championship, and Discraft’s Great Lakes Open (AM A Tier) — along with four Majors: the  USADGC, Champion’s Cup, Pro Worlds, and Masters Worlds. The company also operates  four online stores, hosts numerous local events, and designs and develops disc golf  courses. 

Position Overview 

Ledgestone Disc Golf is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented individual to lead Customer  Service & Shopify Operations (primary) while supporting Warehouse & Fulfillment  (secondary). This hybrid position ensures customers receive exceptional service, product  listings remain accurate, and operational flow between customer service, marketing, and  fulfillment stays aligned. 

This role requires strong disc golf knowledge, excellent communication skills, and comfort  working in a fast-paced environment where ecommerce and operational needs intersect. 

Primary Responsibilities (Customer Service & Shopify Operations — ~75%) 

Customer Support & Communication 

  • Manage all incoming customer inquiries via email and other communication  channels. 
  • Resolve order issues, shipment concerns, product questions, and policy  clarifications in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Provide knowledgeable support related to disc molds, plastics, run variations, flight  numbers, and disc golf equipment. 
  • Shopify Product & Store Management
  • Maintain product listings: descriptions, pricing, tags, filtering, variant updates, and  visibility. 
  • Manage inventory counts and help coordinate stock updates with warehouse staff. Assist with product launches, major drops, sales events, Vault campaigns, and  seasonal website updates. 
  • Ensure product data (images, alt text, SEO fields) remains clean, accurate, and  consistent. 

Operational Support & Analysis 

  • Analyze order data and trends in Excel or Google Sheets to assist with forecasting  and operational decisions. 
  • Help identify issues or inefficiencies across customer service, fulfillment, and  product organization. 
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure campaigns align with customer expectations  and inventory realities. 

Secondary Responsibilities (Warehouse & Fulfillment — ~25%) Fulfillment & Logistics Support 

  • Pull and pack orders with accuracy when warehouse assistance is needed during  peak times. 
  • Receive and restock incoming shipments; assist with labeling, organizing, and  shipping. 
  • Help load/unload gear for events and support warehouse logistics tied to drops or  tournaments. 

Warehouse Organization & Inventory 

  • Support inventory counts and help maintain organized storage systems. Assist with returning event assets to the warehouse following tournament weeks. Use spreadsheets or other tools to update product counts and reconcile  discrepancies. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

Disc Golf Requirements

  • Strong disc golf knowledge is essential — familiarity with molds, plastics,  manufacturers, and typical customer expectations. 
  • Understanding of disc golf culture, terminology, and player behavior. Professional & Technical Skills 
  • Excellent written communication and customer-facing professionalism. Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency. 
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a time-sensitive environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Practical Requirements 

  • Local to the Washington/Peoria, IL area with reliable transportation. College-level degree (or equivalent experience). 
  • Willingness to occasionally support warehouse operations and assist during peak  periods. 
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50–75 lbs as needed. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with Shopify (admin/back-end). 
  • Background in ecommerce, retail operations, or logistics. 
  • Familiarity with inventory systems or omnichannel setups. 
  • Experience working in a customer service or support operations role. 

Schedule & Compensation 

  • Status: Full-time (immediate start) 
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 
  • Compensation: Salary based on experience 
  • Growth Opportunity: Potential to advance into a departmental management role  (purchasing, inventory oversight, and/or sales channel development)
