2021 Ledgestone Insurance Open Refund Policy

  1. The only way to withdraw from the event is by going into your original confirmation email from Disc Golf Scene and requesting a withdraw through Disc Golf Scene. Discussions with persons other than the Tournament Director, including other tournament staff, shall not be considered official for the purposes of withdrawing. If you cannot find your original Disc Golf Scene email, the tournament director’s email is [email protected]
  2. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event prior to (or on) July 9th, 2021 will receive a 100% cash refund, minus a $10 fee (see Item 3 for possible exception for amateur players).
  3. Amateur players requesting a refund prior to (or on) July 9th, 2021 may elect to receive their player’s pack instead of the 100% cash refund. This option may be withdrawn by the tournament director at any time. This year’s player’s pack is worth $500 and the actual cost to the event of the players pack is higher than the $160 entry fee. Due to the size of the players pack, players will be asked to cover the shipping costs, which are estimated to be around $25 to $30. Ace and 50/50 funds will automatically be used as part of covering these costs.
  4. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event between July 10th and July 24th, 2021 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled from the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 50% cash refund.
  5. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event between July 25th and August 1st, 2021 will receive a 100% cash refund minus a $10 fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through the waitlist. If the player's spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 25% cash refund.
  6. Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from playing in the event, do not show up for the event, or try to withdraw after August 1st, 2021 (which is our drop date) forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or players pack. Tee times and divisions are set using the registration list as of this date, so there are no exceptions to this rule.
