Next up in our Q & A series is an interview with Steve Dodge. Steve Dodge is a long time disc promoter and is the founder of the Disc Golf Pro Tour. Steve is currently working on a disc golf board game titled BIRDIE that will be released this year.
Next up in our Q & A Series is Paul McBeth. Paul is one of the most decorated players in the history of our sport and is a 5X PDGA World Champion, in addition to being a 2X Ledgestone Champion.
Next up in our Q & A Series is Elaine King. Elaine is a current PDGA BOD member, a member of the Disc Golf Hall of Fame, a 5X FPO World Champion and she has a PhD to boot.

Next up in our Q & A interview series is Kip Taufer. Kip Taufer is the brainchild/designer/builder of Megiddo at Westwood and is one of the co-designers of Northwood Gold. Kip is also the co-designer with Nate Heinold of the new course in Morton, Kennel Lake, that will debut at this year’s Ledgestone Insurance Open.
Next up in our Q & A Series is Greg Nettles. Greg is the designer of the original Northwood course, the redesigned course in 2012, and the co-designer of Northwood Gold. He has designed and built several other courses in the area and is a past President of the Peoria Frisbee Club.
Next up in our Q & A Series is Dr. Justin Menickelli. Justin is the PDGA Board of Directors President and is a Professor at Western Carolina University. Justin is the co-author of the Definitive Guide to Disc Golf.
Next up in our Q & A Series is Wilbur Wallis. Wilbur is a long time Central Illinois resident and is the son of PDGA Volunteer legends Mom and Old Man Wallis. Wilbur is a volunteer legend in his own right as he has worked or volunteered at nearly 35 PDGA Majors. Wilbur is the current President of the Champaign County Disc Golf Club and has been a Course TD at the Ledgestone for the last several years. Wilbur has also designed many courses in the Central Illinois area.
Up next in our Q & A Series is Alan Barker, President of Infinite Discs. Infinite Discs has been an integral partner of Ledgestone for the last several years and Infinite is the official vendor of the 2020 Ledgestone event.
Planning work continues on the 2020 Discraft Ledgestone Insurance Open presented by GRIPeq. Ledgestone TD and his staff are fully planning on hosting the event in August
Our first interview in our Q & A series comes from Mike Krupicka. Mike has been the IL state coordinator since 2012, is the Chair of the PDGA Rules Committee, currently heads up the Illinois Open Series, and has been the Assistant TD of Ledgestone the last several years.

We are happy to announce the molds that will be released to vendors for the 2020 Ledgestone LE schedule. This year we are releasing 31 molds, including 2 DGA Molds (and then 2 additional special Discraft molds at the event).
The tournament will once again boast a Pro payout north of $100,000 on the professional side assuming a full field of players.

The 2020 schedule includes some major changes, including all AM divisions playing three courses. "We did extensive research after the 2018 and 2019 Ledgestone events to gauge how many courses amateur players truly wanted to play."
