This year’s Discraft Ledgestone Insurance Open will feature the newest championship layout in the Central Illinois Area, Ledgestone TD Nate Heinold announced today.
Ledgestone tournament director Nate Heinold has made a habit of releasing Limited Edition runs to support the tournament. The 2019 event will be no exception. Since the inception of the tournament’s relationship with Discraft, the tournament has released over 80,000 discs to support the event. The tournament, in coordination with Discraft and designers Les White and Marnie Peters, are happy to announce the newest collectible item: The Ledgestone Super Color Full Foil Buzzz Collection.

Tournament Director Nate Heinold is happy to announce the 7th and final Les White Bee from the Ledgestone 2018 Bee Collection: the Franklin’s Bumblebee.
The course schedule has been modified for a few divisions. Sometimes changes to the schedule are necessary with a tournament this size. This change was made to accommodate more players in the MA3 division, which is already full, and to make the course schedule for Pool D more suitable.

Hole 9 was the tipping point for Wysocki to take control of the round. Anthony Barela and Gannon Buhr threw out-of-bounds off the tee and Wysocki calmly laid his 354-foot drive just left of the basket for a drop in birdie.

“This is a tournament I've wanted for so long," Gannon said. "I always felt like this was one I could get, and to finally take it down is a huge accomplishment."
The course record was broken today by Calvin Heimburg. He birdied 11 of the 18 holes to climb up 40 spots and into the top 15.

The wind was clearly a factor in Round 3. After the course averaged 0.4-under par in Round 2, the wind was the prime culprit in raising that average an entire stroke to 0.4-over par.
